...Capital used to do the fireworks roadshows at Crystal Palace. I remember they used to have the roadshow outside Leicester Square. They used to host OB's in pubs and shopping centres. I remember when Tarrant did his shows abroad. Because of money a lot of this has been scrapped. They were there to connect to the listeners like the Radio 1 roadshows....
