What's the best way to create VLANs (br-lan or eth0?) and ... - Reddit
...Hi All, I've created an OpenWRT VM in Proxmox using this tutorial. My WAN NIC will be a hardware-passthrough'ed NIC port and my LAN NIC will be a virtio device in Proxmox. My first question is about the best way to create VLANs in OpenWRT. I see the default LAN interface uses 'br-lan' device which has a bridge port of eth0. I have looked at a few tutorials and threads talking about VLAN setup ......

WAN and LAN on a single wire? : r/openwrt - Reddit

Can't access internet from lan? : r/openwrt - Reddit
...Running openwrt on an Asus RT-AX53U. Everything has been working fine until today. Today, I can't access the internet from the wired lan. Things I've found: My old (non openwrt) router works fine. Can ......

Wireguard server on LAN only : r/openwrt - Reddit
...So you have cascaded routers, ISP -> openwrt. There's a port forward set up on your ISP router to send packets received on the ISP router port 51820 (or whatever you set it to be) to the openwrt router's IP, port 51820 (or, again, whatever you set it up as). The openwrt firewall rule is wrong? The only place in the guide with that is in the creation of the forwarding rule that takes packets ......

Changing router's LAN IP over SSH : r/openwrt - Reddit
...I'm ok-ish with bash and I've made a script for interacting with my openWRT router over SSH. I can do things like turning the LuCI interface on and off, rebooting the device, etc. but changing the IP doesn't work. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Say I want the IP to be 192.168.99.1 the command I'd send is: uci set network.lan.ipaddr='192.168.99.1' > /dev/null && /etc/init.d/network ......
