...@Exiled-in-HH BBC iPlayer app is UK only The app is not available in Republic of Ireland. @EEIRSK74 BBC you will have to watch live for most broadcasts. It's BBC not Sky Ireland who decide what is made available as on demand in Republic of Ireland and it's a limited amount. Adding a BBC channel to playlist will only provide playback after brodcast has ended if it's listed as available in BBC ......

...It kinda does. Sky customers in the UK get their BBC on-demand through the iPlayer app, and not the Sky interface. Just the same as you. Limiting on-demand access through BBC iPlayer and not the Sky interface is a decision taken by the BBC. Sky can't do anything about that....

...To my astonishment, after selecting 'Standard' hdmi settings, the UHD picture on bbc iplayer came to life! I'm now able to watch UHD programmes as I expect them to be, in superb UHD quality, colour and sound - fantastic. I wish I'd found this out during Wimbledon this year as when trying to watch in UHD it was simply terrible....
