What should I know before buying from Copart? : r ... - Reddit
...What should I know before buying from Copart? I?m planning on picking up a car from Copart. Pretty much set on a 2006-2013 Impala with accident damage, but nothing too extreme. I?m in Pennsylvania, and here the public can bid without a broker....

CoPart- My Experience + Any Advice? : r/cars - Reddit
...Copart sells to car dealers, dismantlers, auto body shops etc. Yes they technically do sell to private individuals but its not really meant for that. You end up having to hire a broker to put a bid on a car and then like in your case the broker fees basically double the cost of the car. I have used copart in the past as a hobbyist for getting project cars or parts source cars. I ended up ......

Copart is absolutely insane right now : r/askcarsales - Reddit
...I?ve been buying and selling cars from insurance companies for a while now but I?ve never seen a market like this one. I was the highest bidder on a SALVAGE 2017 Chevrolet Silverado LT V8 2WD with bench cloth seats. A base model and very boring truck. I bid 16,900. Plus a 7.5% standard vehicle fee, $79 gate fee, $149 live bid fee, $20 mailing fee, and a $10 environmental fee. The total ......

Is Copart reliable? : r/askcarsales - Reddit
...Copart is not an impounded cars auction. Copart is a damaged (often severely) car auction that happens to sell some impounded cars. Do not buy a car from copart unless you are a mechanic. And definitely do not buy anything with newer technology (forward collision, adaptive cruise, lane assist) unless you are some sort of mechanic/engineer....

How do Copart Auctions work? Anyone ever score a great deal ... - Reddit
...How do Copart Auctions work? Anyone ever score a great deal? Has anyone here ever used Copart to buy a car? I'm a bit confused as to how it works. I place some bids, and then it goes into a "live auction", and then what? Is there more bidding that goes on during the live auction at an actual auction? What's the deal, amirite folks?
