...Basically what the title says, i'm wondering how bad/important or even how accurate ooklas speed test is for the download and upload latency; my idle latency is around 6-10ms but during the download test it shows the download latency anywhere between 300-500ms whilst the upload latency stays at a steady 9ms. i'm on wired and get about 400mb down and 50mb up. I used ookla, fast.com, and google?s internet speed test which gave me the corresponding 160mbps, 250mbps, and 580 mbps. I tested each website 5 times and the above recorded data is the average.
