...You just drop it into your console but I could be mistaken. The Makho battery is 100% the best battery on the market for a GBA SP at the moment. Nothing else comes close to the battery life/capacity on the SP. Second to the Makho mod, Helder's 800mAh battery is the second best....

Why do people go to the trouble of de-soldering the GBA SP charging port, soldering a USB C charging port and then needing to 3D print a bracket to make the USB C port look nice....

...IPS mod uses more wattage/hr, though. Higher capacity batteries are better for IPS mods simply because you get more play time. AGS 101/AGS 001 both last longer as well, but the IPS doesn't last nearly as long on a stock 650mAh battery, compared to something like the Makho battery which is 900~mAh....

...The SP has two potentiometers, one is the volume slider and that's pretty self-explanatory so I'll assume you're asking about the other one. The second potentiometer is for adjusting the screen contrast, in most cases you leave it untouched since it's more something that's set in the factory....
