...Yes, used Outlook before on other devices. It just won't add to a Macbook - and as far as I know, no BT mail app is available for Mac. My BT internet mail is otherwise running as it should in other email clients....

I'd recommend completely clearing your cookies and cache too, as this can help us rule out it being anything linked with your browser settings....
