...I got an email with a link to deposit the Lopez v. Apple settlement check. I can't remember how I asked for it to be sent (check or direct deposit). It looks legit but most good scams do. Has anyone else received this email and used the link to deposit the check. $40 is not worth getting hacked....

...No matter if this is legit or not you should never enter your apple id into a link provided by an unsolicited email. If it is Apple they will need to fix it. A verification link when followed should say. "Thank you very much", period. You obviously own the email address being verified, because you received the email....
