My wife and I would both use the same computer to check online banking (both Santander C/A), she doesn't have the Santander App on her phone either. We use Chrome browser and have the AdNauseam plugin to block ads....

Occasionally, I have to use online banking, e.g. to change an SO. I use Chrome for online banking, and the app is on iPhone. I can?t recall any login or other usability issues....

Santander OTP code every time I want to look at my account
...Every time I log in to my Santander online account I get a request to put in a code into my mobile phone.This is inconvenient as I do not always have my mobile handy to my desktop PC, I am 78 years old and it is not an easy task to get up and down the stairs etc.I have spoken to Santander and they are not interested, they tell me that it is all automated and they cannot do anything....

...Santander like many other banks is moving away from using SMS for OTPs and instead will use Push notifications to the device with their app installed. To login to Web banking you need to acknowledge an authorisation sent to the Mobile App by default, with SMS OTP being the fallback....
