It took over four weeks for Metro to decide they didn?t like one of the applicants zero-hour contract even though over a two-year period 2023 and 2024 the P60s show consistent earnings for a zero-hour. ...I heard that Metro Bank were looking to focus on other areas - whatever that might mean. Restricting applicants to personal branch visits effectively excluded huge numbers of wanabee credit card holders. I don't think any other credit card issuing player in the market has such a policy....
